Wooden Candle Wicks with Clips

Wooden wicks with the metal base clip already fitted, so there is nothing to assemble before you pour. They crackle as they burn — either the reason you are buying them or entirely beside the point, depending on what you are making.

How to use

Fix the clip to the base of the vessel with a wick sticker and pour as usual. Trim wooden wicks to about 3 mm before each burn, shorter than a cotton wick — left long they smoke and struggle to stay lit. Match the width to the vessel: 8 mm for narrow jars, 10 mm for wider ones.

Care & safety

Store dry and flat; damp wood will not light. Keep away from open flame. If a wooden wick keeps going out, it is almost always too long or the melt pool is too shallow — trim shorter and burn for longer.
