Vintage Ceramic Candle Vessel

Plain glazed ceramic in four flat colours — beige, orange, pink and a grey-blue. No pattern, no texture, nothing competing with whatever you decide to put in it. That restraint is deliberate: this is a vessel to pour into, not a finished object.

How to use

Wash and dry the vessel fully before pouring — any moisture left inside will cause the wax to pull away from the wall as it sets. Fix a wick to the base with a sticker or melted wax, centre it with a wick holder, and pour at the temperature your wax calls for. Leave to set undisturbed on a level surface.

Care & safety

Once the candle is finished, soften any residue with warm water and lift the wick tab out, then wash by hand. Do not put a vessel with wax still in it into the dishwasher. Ceramic holds heat, so let it cool before moving.
