Flower Candle Making Kit

Everything for a jelly-wax flower candle in one pack: the borosilicate glass cup, the wax, and the pieces that go inside it. You melt, pour and arrange — the flowers suspend in the clear wax and stay exactly where you set them. Five kit variations, plus a heating tool if you do not already have one.

Details

• Borosilicate glass vessel, 8.5 × 7.2 cm
• Jelly wax — melts at 80°C, pours at 100°C
• Five kit types, plus an optional heating tool
• Flowers suspend in the clear wax
• Jelly wax is chosen for how it looks rather than how far it throws scent; a few small bubbles are part of the handmade result

How to use

Melt the jelly wax to 80°C and pour at around 100°C — cooler than that and it sets before the flowers settle. Warm the glass first with a little hot water so the temperature difference is small, then pour in one steady stream. Place the flowers with tweezers as the wax starts to thicken, not while it is still fluid, or they will drift.

Care & safety

Jelly wax pours at 100°C: work on a heat-proof surface, use a glove or a cloth to hold the vessel, and keep children well clear while the wax is hot. Never heat it in a microwave or over a direct flame. Let the finished candle set undisturbed for several hours before moving it.
