Coconut Shell Soy Candle

A real coconut shell, cut and polished, filled with soy wax. Nothing about it is uniform — the shell decides the shape, so no two are quite the same size or the same colour. Eleven fragrances, from Coconut and Jasmine through to Amber and Rose. Burn it down, wash the shell out, and it keeps going as a small bowl.

Details

• Soy wax in a polished coconut shell
• Two sizes: small 7–9 cm diameter, large 9–12 cm
• Eleven fragrances including Coconut, Jasmine, Amber, Rose and Osmanthus
• Every shell differs in shape and colour
• Candle included

How to use

Stand it on a flat, heat-resistant surface — a coconut shell is rounded underneath and will rock on an uneven table. Give the first burn two to three hours to reach the edge. Trim the wick to 5 mm each time, and stop once about 10 mm of wax is left, before the flame reaches the shell.

Care & safety

Never let the candle burn down to the shell itself. Let it cool fully before moving. Once finished, soften the last wax with warm water, lift the wick tab out and wash the shell — it works as a bowl for jewellery or small things.
