Botanical Soy Pillar Candle

A soy blend pillar with dried botanicals worked into it, poured by hand. Four fragrances: a fresh spring green, lemon verbena, rose with fruit, and orange osmanthus. The botanicals sit in the outer wax, so they stay visible while the candle burns down through the centre.

How to use

Burn for two to three hours the first time so the melt pool reaches the full width, then trim the wick to 5 mm before each light. Stand it on a plate or tray — pillar candles run as they burn down, and the dried botanicals should be kept clear of the flame.

Care & safety

Keep dried botanicals away from the wick as the candle burns; trim back any that lean inward. Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts, never unattended, and out of reach of children and pets. Stop once about 10 mm of wax remains.
