Wooden Wicks and Sustainers, 100 Pack

One hundred natural wood wicks with one hundred metal sustainers to match. Bulk supply for anyone pouring more than the occasional candle, and cheaper per candle than buying them a few at a time.

Details

• Natural wood wicks with metal sustainer bases
• Two wick sizes: 13 × 60 mm and 13 × 130 mm
• Sustainer: 13.5 × 16.5 × 7.3 mm
• 100 wicks and 100 sustainers per pack
• Wood wicks crackle as they burn

How to use

Slide the wick into the sustainer until it seats, then fix the sustainer to the base of the vessel with a wick sticker before pouring. Wood wicks behave differently from cotton: trim them to about 3 mm rather than 5 mm, and expect the first burn to take a little longer to establish a full melt pool.

Care & safety

Store the pack dry and flat — damp wood wicks will not light cleanly. Keep away from open flame. Test one candle before committing a batch when you change wax type or vessel width, since wood wick size behaves differently in each.

A good gift for

Bulk supply is a practical gift for someone already selling what they pour. Part of the candle-making range at GLOW & AURA.
