A 6 cm cube with a painted surface — closer to a small block of colour than a conventional candle. Made from natural materials and finished by hand, so no two come out identical. Most people buy it for the object and only light it later, if at all.

How to use
Give the first burn two to three hours so the wax melts to the full width of the cube rather than tunnelling. Trim the wick to 5 mm each time. If you would rather keep the painted surface intact, it works just as well unlit on a shelf or beside a stack of books.
Care & safety
Keep out of direct sunlight, which will soften the wax and dull the painted finish. Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts, never unattended, and out of reach of children and pets.
