Coconut Candle Gift Basket

A handmade coconut-shell candle packed into a white bamboo basket with pine cones, cinnamon sticks, lemon slices, decorative leaves and a box of matches. Every coconut shell is different, so no two baskets arrive quite the same. Coconut and soy wax with plant essential oils, burning for 50 to 60 hours.

How to use

Lift the candle clear of the basket before lighting it — the dried botanicals, pine cones and cinnamon around it are all flammable. Let the first burn run three hours so the wax melts to the edge of the shell. Trim the wick to 5 mm each time. At 50 to 60 hours this is a candle for regular evenings rather than an occasion.

Care & safety

Never burn the candle while it sits in the basket, and keep the basket contents away from the flame. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, never unattended, and out of reach of children and pets. Once finished, wash the shell out and keep it as a small bowl.
