Cement Candle Vessel

Cast cement in nine colours, from Athens black and raw cement grey through to Klein blue and a soft Tiffany blue. Matte, solid, and heavy enough to stay exactly where you put it. Sold empty — pour your own wax into it, or use it as a holder for a candle you already have.

How to use

Dry the vessel completely before pouring — cement is porous and holds moisture longer than ceramic. Anchor the wick at the base, centre it, then pour at your wax temperature and leave to set level and undisturbed. Cement draws heat out of the wax, so let it cool slowly at room temperature.

Care & safety

Cement holds heat well after the flame is out; let it cool before moving. Wipe with a damp cloth rather than soaking. Small surface pits and colour variation are characteristic of cast cement, not faults. It chips if knocked against a hard edge.
